What this is about~
This workshop, at its foundation, is part of an overall quest for self-fulfillment and achieving our highest potential via a journey into our interior self to explore a few of life's big questions, dilemmas, and mysteries:

*Who are we? Who am I?
*How can we live a 'good life', a life that cultivates self-love, self-trust, happiness, compassion, peace, & flourishing?
*How can I make a meaningful contribution to others & the world?
*What are my highest potentials & how do I move towards achieving them?
*How might an understanding of higher wellbeing (accessing our authentic inner nature, pure Consciousness) play into our sense of trust in others and within ourselves, thereby expanding our experience of wholeness?

In a rapidly changing world where we are presented with innumerable challenges, multiple perspectives, & increasing uncertainty, it is easy to get lost in the fray, to fall into a perilous pattern of self-doubt, overthinking, overwhelm, & worry.
We need not, however, succumb to a sense of powerlessness.
We do have power, we do have choices, & we do have the strength to change our thinking, our beliefs about who we are, our behaviours, & the way we meet the world.
One avenue for such change is through radical trust.

We emphasise that this is a life coaching experience, not therapy.
Our intention is to point you towards a fuller, more holistic life, not take you into any past or present trauma.
You will always be held in confidence & support by everyone in attendance, but should you find that memories are leading you into unresolved pain or confusing life experiences, we strongly advise you seek therapy.

Our plans are always flexible, but a typical evening will unfold in three parts~
-
Beginning: welcome, check-in, Q & A
-
Middle: background information, discussion topics, meditation(s), reflection questions, journalling, creative activities
-
Sample reflection/discussion questions:
-
What do you most deeply value, & how can you maintain your integrity in the face of competing demands or expectations by family, friends, coworkers, acquaintances, community groups, etc.?
-
What is the meaning of trust? Self-trust? In what or whom do your place your trust & why?
-
What are your unique gifts (*yes, you do have gifts) & what are your resistances to expressing your unique gifts?
-
-
-
Ending: recap, suggestions for at-home follow-up, fare-thee-well
Your time commitment~
-
8 evenings (two hours per session)
- [recommended but optional] 15-20 minutes/day of 'homework' to help you tune into & refine your thoughts, dreams, plans, & intentions (this could take the form of journalling, meditation, talking with trusted friends or family members, contemplative walks, or even simply thinking further about life's 'big' questions & conundrums)
What you need to bring~
-
an open heart
-
an inquiring mind
-
a compassionate spirit (*this includes towards yourself, not just others)
-
a willingness to question & deepen your inner sense of self-trust
-
a pen & a journal for quick jottings
-
blank paper and coloured pens, pencils, crayons for creative or artistic renderings & doodling (*entirely optional; this is an exercise in creativity, but it is not an art class 😉)
This might be the workshop for you if~
-
you are wondering how to move forward in what might be considered a "dark time" (or a more uncertain future than ever before)
-
you want to practice accessing your own internal wisdom in a shared group environment
-
you are open to trusting like-minded others (*within your own safety parameters)
-
you want to know more about the difference between discernment & judgement
-
you want to look more deeply into the meaning & importance of developing & applying empowerment through self-trust
-
you want to explore how trust affects~
-
your outlook on the world
-
your sense of self and others
-
your values, motives, and capacities
-
your sense of belonging or not belonging
-
This is might not be for you if~
-
you are at a time & place in life where you have attained the sort of peace, contentment, & conviction that renders these kinds of conversations irrelevant or unnecessary at this point in your life (with full respect to you...we acknowledge that this will not resonate with everyone)
The backstory~
We only have this one, precious life, & we are warranted a full experience of what it means to be 'human', what it means to live to our fullest potential, what it means to be part of a wider community, what it means to be connected to something 'bigger', & in what way(s) we can each make a contribution to the greater good no matter how prominent or subtle. Each intention, each internal shift, & each outward action has the potential to activate a series of other positive effects.

Our commitment to you~
-
We will set in motion a safe, trusted community where you are welcome (but never forced) to share your experiences, thoughts, & feelings without fear of harsh criticism or negative judgement from others in the group
-
We will share our resources & life coaching experience to guide you through this journey inward with mindful conversations, thought-provoking questions, & guided meditations
-
We will support your journey within the group experience, & we will arrange individual sessions as requested by you
